Interview with 'smart casual' dress code... What would you wear?!

I can't do smart casual, it seems. It's an interview with sainsburys for an instore position. My wardrobe is full of corporate wear, or stay at home mum wear. Nothing seems to go together to form something suitable.

The best outfit in my mind is black trousers, white sleeveless borderline anglais too with lemon round neck cardigan. Heels or flats? Would that look too casual? Help!

I think that would be fine, but in these kind of things, I'd always err on the side of being too smart.

I have a wrap dress that I always turn to in situations like this!

I'd err on the side of smart. Likley the dress code has been set so candidates don't feel pressured to buy a suit if they haven't got one.

Would be dress and jacket for me

Flats fine but heel

Heels ok if not too high
