Will this suit me or should I stop lusting?

Fallen in love with this for my new job.

However. It looks like it may only suit skinny, petite people with small boobs.

I am 5'8, a size 16 hourglass, with 32hh boobs.

Yay or nay?

I think it'd look better on an hourglass figure than on the model. Looks a bit sacklike shapeless on her. Do you have quite vibrant colouring?

TheWomanTheyCallJayne · 09/07/2014 19:47

It's gorgeous
I have no idea if it'll suit you though
You need a proper snb bod for that

TheHoundsBitch · 09/07/2014 19:47

It looks shithouse on the model, I think it would suit an hourglass much better :)

TheWomanTheyCallJayne · 09/07/2014 19:48

Managed to get it to show me the other pictures. I agree it needs someone with more shape

Degustibusnonestdisputandem · 09/07/2014 19:48

I really like it! And agree with other posters, I think it would really suit your figure.

Molotov · 09/07/2014 19:49

I think you should try it on and see how you feel in it.

You don't have to be tiny to look great and feel sexy. I can picture no reason why you wouldn't look great in this.

Tall? Yep
Boobs? Yep
Hourglass? Yep

What's not to love in this rather flattering, contemporary Grecian drape number? Smile

chubbymummy · 09/07/2014 19:49

I think it could really suit your figure actually but it's hard to tell properly without trying it on.

RoganJosh · 09/07/2014 19:52

It could be good, the neckline seems not too high which is a good start.

BritabroadinAsia · 09/07/2014 19:58

Another yes from me - I think this dress would look great on an hourglass.

BuntyCollocks · 09/07/2014 20:37

Wow - unanimous! Thank you! I've got almost black hair and green eyes, don't know if you'd call that vibrant, and I do a lovely line in typical Scottish skin tone ... Grin

Am off to purchase and will try on at weekend and report back.

Eek!

Really fabulous dress that will look good on lots of different shapes owing to the drape -if the material is good quality.

Barbs111 · 09/07/2014 22:53

I think you should try it, I think this dress needs curves!

I couldn't wear it, 5"7, size 8, 32d bust, I'm very stright and long no hips as such and this would look awful on me, very bin bag!

tgrayson · 09/07/2014 23:06

Think that dress is designed for the hour glass figure x

Justgotosleepnow · 09/07/2014 23:20

Gorgeous dress!

Koothrapanties · 10/07/2014 10:40

Love it! Put a pic up when you try it op!

BuntyCollocks · 10/07/2014 13:34

I will - able to pick up from tomorrow, so will nip at lunch, pick up, try on at home, and then can take it back if it's sack like/clingy in the wrong places caesarian shelf

BuntyCollocks · 13/07/2014 11:06

Disaster - it's awful. Really thin crappy material, not as asymmetric as online, and doesn't hang nicely :(

OP posts:
cardamomginger · 13/07/2014 13:15

Bugger.

Koothrapanties · 13/07/2014 16:51

:( what a let down!

BuntyCollocks · 13/07/2014 20:23

Gutted! However, at least I can spend the money on badly needed underwear. My pants are starting to go to holes. How embarrassing.

OP posts:
tethersend · 13/07/2014 21:55

This is much nicer

Doitforme · 13/07/2014 22:03

That will look good on a curvy tall hourglass.

Doitforme · 13/07/2014 22:04

o sorry, missed this last page. Shame.

Marcelinewhyareyousomean · 13/07/2014 22:16

I've tried the dress that tethers linked to and it's lovely. The small cap sleeves are perfect to cover and look professional but aren't too hot. I'm a similar shape to you. The only thing that stopped me buying it (so far) was that it was short on me. I need something that covers up a gammy leg.

BuntyCollocks · 13/07/2014 23:03

Ooh tethers.

Naughty.

Thank you: I shall check it out. I need to do work clothing inventory and add/subtract where required. Dresses always required.
