Work Experience clothes

DD15 is on work experience next week at a graphic design/film&video editing agency in London. It's an office but more relaxed then normal ones. The letter she got from them just said smart causal for the dress code but we are struggling with what she should actually wear. Most of the time she just wears jeans with vans or trainers and t shirts. Obviously this is too casual for the work environment but she doesn't really have any other clothes :/ I don't mind buying some but it's only for a week so not loads. She really doesn't like wearing dresses or skirts or anything too girly. Anyone got any ideas for what she can wear?

Black (skinny?) trousers, ballet pumps and a smartish top. Does she not already have smart trousers for school?

Dark trousers of some kind and not too tight, including black jeans. A couple of stripe or plain long sleeve t-shirts (Primark) and closed in footwear so easy to cope with moving around environment. Hair neat and jewellery minimal. After day one she will have a good idea of the workplace uniform. Having managed work experience, her enthusiasm and interest will be of more concern to them than her appearance, although avoid showing flesh! So prep some questions and prompt her to not be afraid to volunteer to help / ask for work if quick to finsh tasks she has been set. Last, a smile whilst working will always make her a far more popular student than one that looks like a wet weekend. Good luck.
