Leaving soon for party. It's a cocktail party 50 th in a local pub. DD and DH have been less than helpful in their opinions :)

Choices are this dress with black patent wedges and black patent clutch. Or this black biba jumpsuit with same patent sandals and a metallic envelope clutch.

Am 45 and a size 14.

Dress

I think they are both lovely! This probably isn't any help either.

Chewbecca · 09/07/2014 15:18

Need to see them on you! Take pics and post then people will definitely have an opinion!
Both could be good choices but I bet one looks better on.

Jumpsuit! Smile

Off to hairdresser so don't have time to put up photo just now. Will put one up if I get time later. Thanks for the opinions. Any other thoughts meantime would be great.

They are both lovely but the dress is the best.

snowgirl1 · 09/07/2014 15:58

I like both, but for me the dress edges ahead for a cocktail party

Dress

Both are lovely. The dress would suit the occasion best I think.

Try both on once you have your hair and make I all done and see what you feel most comfy in.

Have fun

frankietwospots · 09/07/2014 16:15

Love the jumpsuit!

nilbyname · 09/07/2014 16:16

Love both, but for the occasion I would say dress, if it is quite formal? What's you DH wearing?

SinglePringle · 09/07/2014 16:17

The Westwood is bloody lovely. Serious dress envy and I may buy it!

The dress, no question.

MrsMarigold · 09/07/2014 18:15

I love the dress.

OnlyLovers · 09/07/2014 18:23

I prefer the dress too.

CoconutAmericano · 09/07/2014 18:24

Both fab but the dress has the edge for the occasion.

TheBuskersDog · 09/07/2014 18:36

Both nice but if it's at a pub is it going to be fairly casual, if so then the jumpsuit.

Magicrealism · 10/07/2014 11:44

Thanks all. Went for the dress and was glad I did as even though it was in a pub everyone else was very dressed up. Got a sore head today from bramble gin cocktails. Not used to midweek boozing. The birthday gal looked stunning in a grass green maxi.

DH wasn't invited Nilby. It was women only.

You've got a sore head, but you've also got a beautiful new Vivienne W dress. Wink
