Some stuff looks lovely in the catalog but sooo frumpy on. Is it just me? I avoid all the "fun tunic" type stuff but even the plain stuff is really unflattering. I'm hour glass shaped and it doesn't fit at all so I look like I'm prego. Also seems really big, I'm defo not a size 10 but some 12s are massive.

Whenever I'm on mat leave I get sucked in and order stuff as haven't been shopping for ages but am always disappointed.

Girls stuff looks lovely on Dds though.

Do you find good stuff there?

I bought some well-fitting dresses just after my ds was born and they worked well for breast feeding. However the trousers I bought were randomly sized and although the 14 fit the 16 was too tight!

I do like the shoes there. Everything I've bought has been in the sale though.

Ha ha! Yes I know its not compulsory but they always get me when I'm on mat leave and have nowt to wear/can't go to the shops. Catalog is beautiful but amusingly aspirational... I've certainly never seen anyone in Paris or amalfi wearing an aplique skirt.

Guess they just don't cut for me, I have broad shoulders/big boobs/ribcage and I'm a 5'8"... Even when I starve myself I can't be less than a 10 so certainly not petite.

Will be back at work soon so will be reiss/topshop which seem to fit me better.

I prefer the winter range over the summer, lots of lovely skirts with tights and boots and cheerful jumpers. Loved mini boden on my daughter but now she's 10 and refuses to wear it point blank!
