Boden bowling bag or Modalu Pippa?

Help me decide which please....?

Agree Jaeger one lovely and think they are generally classier than Modalu. But (unlike the two in the OP) it seems not to have what I've come to see as an essential for everyday bags, ie an outside pocket for my Oyster card.

Sorry not read all the thread, but have to tried the poppa in real life? I thought I really wanted one until I tried it, it's a heavy bag empty, the gold metal work was too bright and blingy and the fact it wouldn't go over my shoulder put me off. They seemed well made and a good price though.

Which colour for everyday for the Jaeger bag do we think? I am stuck between the caramel and the blue...

Be aware that the only reason I am flexing my credit card is because I bought the medium Pippa in choc croc a month ago and I am not getting on with it at all to the extent that I am selling it. I love the idea, and the compartments, and I have a mini Pippa which I bought a year ago and love, but the new one is soooo heavy that I hurt my shoulder carrying it for two days and the croc leather marks badly. This was an exchange for a shark one which had so many 'imperfections' that I returned it.

If you like modalu have you looked at the Phoebe? That is one beautiful bag - I have seen it in the flesh and, honestly, ....

Also it really annoys me when a company tries to get away with peddling crap quality leather on the basis that "oh, it's a natural material, so there will be irregularities and variations", ie flaws. Not good enough for a £230 bag, I want mine to look nice when I receive it....

I love the Jaeger bag. I usually prefer black bags but I really like the blue one.

Certainly didn't notice those problems on my navy one on a fairly quick look when it arrived. Will check it more carefully now, as it hasn't been used yet so can still send it back.

Caramel will go with more than the navy, however I think the navy looks nicer. Whats your wardrobe - it really needs to match everything you own tbh..

I caved and ordered the blue Jaeger one. I really should stay away from S&B.

I have sent back navy and the Aqua Boden bag today. I wasn't impressed. The shape was wrong and the handles one was too short and the long handle wasn't long enough.

At least my credit card will be happy that I'm sending them back.
