i really wanted some but they are and i could never find my size.

bought \link{http://www.topshop.com/en/tsuk/product/shoes-430/heels-458/nancy-chunky-wooden-sandals-2875024?bi=1&ps=200\these} in topshop yesterday though and am very happy with them!

I love the look of them but they are out of my budget, Lotta From Stockholm do slightly cheaper alternatives if you are not 100% sure.

ThisBitchIsResting · 06/07/2014 21:36

I have these and they are fab. Lotta also have a clearance section on their website, limited sizes but good prices.

I also really wanted some Swedish Hasbeens, but the sizing was very odd indeed. I ordered the peep toe super high - I'm nearly always a standard size 5, but the 5 was too long, ordered a 4 and it was ok length wise, but way too narrow. I considered wearing them with socks to try to stretch them, but they were excruciatingly painful. Also, the back strap was a strange shape, too long somehow. If you're going to try them, I suggest ordering some from a UK site so you can send them back without it costing you a fortune if you need to.

I wondered how the sizing on the Lotta clogs compared?

mimiasovitch · 06/07/2014 22:27

Lotta's are wider. They also have a sizing guide where you measure your foot and for each shoe it suggests which size would be suitable. Has worked for me so far. They sell some other brands too, and will say how they fit, for example if they run narrow. Not that I heeded that of course, hence having to return a stunning pair of hot pink sandals that were never going to work on my boat like feet.

Sizing was fine for me. They do have frequent clearances so sign up for the website. I got exactly what I wanted for about £30 last year. They are fine for carpark to office type days - not sure I would want to oh masses further in them though!

Darkchocsprinkles · 06/07/2014 22:38

I bought the Hasbeens Lacy Sandals and I love them. They do come up a little bit big, but are very comfortable.

milkwagon · 06/07/2014 22:48

Thanks everyone - I'm on the lookout for second hand/nearly new as they certainly are £££ so I wouldn't be able to send them back. Will have a look at those alternatives too.xx
