Cocktail dress

Hello - I have a work do in a few weeks. It's black tie (with cocktail dresses being deemed suitable for women). I have nothing to wear!

I'm size 18-20, 5'8", suit dark autumn colours, would prefer something with a v-neck/scoop neck and below the knee - plus sleeves of some kind (short sleeves is fine, just not sleeveless). I don't really want anything to tight fitting.

I also don't want to spend a fortune as I'm trying to lose weight!

Am I asking the impossible??

Thanks! The only thing that puts me off it is that it's 100% polyester. I can cope with viscose but don't want to be a sweaty mess halfway through the night

Orange with lace £55 It is manmade fibre but says 'soft touch' fabric

Purple in breathable fabric £40

Teeny sleeve £35

The sleeve and fabric combo is tricky to find I admit. Good luck.

I love the kimono style! Although I wonder if I'll look like I'm wearing my dressing gown next to all the thing, glam girls in the office... I might get it anyway!
