I bought a dress from asos curve, it came today and wow Grin
It's one of those that you don't want to take off!!! I can't make the link work but it's called asos curve bodycon spot. Comes up small

That looks abso-bloody-lutely amazing!

harverina · 05/07/2014 23:31

What size would you normally be op?

Love your dress you look fab!

I have lost weight and am now an 18, though I did buy sise 16 trousers this week in new look and dp.

I don't think I have the confidence for your dress but I wish so much that I did Hmm

goodasitgets · 05/07/2014 23:41

I would usually be a 16. Have boob issues with them fitting in dresses and this is quite boob friendly, the cut out back covers a bra

Looks really nice. I have bought some stuff from them but usually find the dresses are too short - I don't mean I am tall, just not wanted to expose my thighs! Have had some lovely stuff from them though and also love New Look online (haven't seen the big line in New look for a while so always go online).

Theres a sale on now at Asos including Curve at the moment.

F4ttyBumBum · 07/07/2014 18:40

wow, I'm impressed, what's the quality like?

wildone81 · 07/07/2014 20:00

I've just had shorts delivered from asos curve and I love them!!! In the sale too so even happier-think I've found a new online favourite!!

goodasitgets · 07/07/2014 22:23

It's ok for the price. To be fair the dress is just a stretch jersey, no lining so can't comment on more expensive stuff
It's similar to dorothy perkins/new look

You look stunning. Bet it wouldn't look as good on a size 24 though.

TOADfan · 07/07/2014 22:30

Btw I was talking about myself at size 24 Smile

goodasitgets · 07/07/2014 23:45

I did actually think while trying it, that it was a shame it came up small as people will be sized out of it
Generally I find a plus size range 16 different to say a Topshop 16 so expected it to be roomier. Shocked at having to go up 2 sizes

I got a lovely jersey dress but it does come up rather small and the jersey is pretty see through.

harverina · 08/07/2014 10:41

So is it generally small made then? I have seen a couple of lovely things on it as have a night out and an engagement party.

My night out is actually an early dinner and drinks. Not sure what to wear but would rather wear either flats or low wedges.

goodasitgets · 08/07/2014 11:17

I would say go up a size, especially if you have bigger boobs

That's gorgeous :)

I bought a pair of their indigo skinny jeans to contain the post cs jelly belly and they are brilliant - and this is from someone who never wears trousers Smile

Gorgeous, you look fab op.

McFox · 08/07/2014 11:30

Oops double post, stupid phone.

I also meant to say that I went up a size in the jeans too - I'm normally a 16 and the 18 is pretty snug, but I only gave birth 4 weeks ago.

goodasitgets · 08/07/2014 11:37

I'm eyeing up another dress now that's half price Blush

ihatethecold · 08/07/2014 11:46

You look great in that dress

maudpringles · 08/07/2014 11:51

You look fabulous in that dress...
Mmm may pop over to asosSmile

AntoinetteCosway · 08/07/2014 12:17

That's so lovely-the fit is amazing. I wish I could buy 'plus size' clothes in smaller sizes. I am (when not pregnant!) usually a 10 on my waist, bum and legs but have really big boobs, so size 10 tops don't fit my boobs but bigger sizes are too big elsewhere. I used to be a 16/18 and found that clothes specifically cut for those sizes are much more realistic about body shape, if you see what I mean? And the fact that being a particular size generally doesn't mean you're necessarily going to be uniform! Pepperberry (I think?) do cut for different boob/waist sizes but I never like their stuff.

Sorry, just a little rant Blush

goodasitgets · 08/07/2014 12:39

I get you - have you looked at biubiu and Urkye? I have a couple of lovely dresses from biubiu, they're cheap and postage is quick

goodasitgets · 08/07/2014 12:41

Here's the size guide for biubiu (they've also started doing some maternity tops)
