Not hairy but I did get 'Gunwhalers bottom' once from a wet sailing weekend where you are soaked through and the salt water breaks down your skins barrier and I got a spotty bum.
Sea salt/olive oil scrub and talc cured it

I think moisturising with a cream containing urea would help.
