Bra fitting help - does this size sound about right?

Last night I measured myself according to this guide and got a band measurement of 35 inches and a bust measurement of 43 inches. According to the guide (I have dyscalculia so correct me if I'm wrong!) that makes me a 36FF. I am a size 22-24, high-waisted hourglass shape - does that sound about right? It was tricky to get my bust measurement as my boobs are long/sweet potato shaped - could I be a 36G? Because I have a high waist my tummy comes up right under my bust - 36 was my band measurement for ages before antidepressants made me fat, is it still my band measurement despite my size? Being a FF or G cup is not a big shock (I currently wear a 44E), having a 36 back really is!

I make that a 36F, but that's just a starting point really and you'll probably want to try 34 and 36 bands, in F, FF and G etc.

Thank you - just wanted to make sure that I wasn't way out. I had planned on trying loads on anyway since fit varies from brand to brand.

For a lot of people, band size doesn't change that much with weight gain funnily enough. However, I'd also suggest that you maybe weren't actually a 36 to begin with...did M&S have anything to do with that by any chance?

at 35 and 43, I'd normally suggest starting with 34G, 34FF, 36FF and 36F. However, how does your 44E fit in the cup? A 44E is designed for someone who measures more like 44/50 so I would expect it to be too big really. If it's not too big in the cups you may have either not measured bending over enough/loose enough or just be someone who needs a bigger cup than they measure. In volume terms, a 44E=42F=40FF=38G=36GG=34H so you might want to try a 36G/GG and 34GG/H too.

I measure 29 and I'm more comfortable in a 28 than a 30.

Statistically my 44E fits too small in the cup and too big in the band. I will try all the sizes you suggest!

Also yes M&S measured me as a 36AA when I was 9.

EEjits!

I'm a 30HH and they tried to shove me in a 36F recently.
