I can't believe your kitchen BTM. Sounds like a monumental cock up. And so annoying when it goes over like that. We haven't really moved back into ours yet as dh needs to finish painting it and I haven't chosen tiles.... All slowed down a bit.

I went to see a delightful friend last night (who is too young to be Crepey) but is a MNer) and drank a glass too many of prosecco. Fell asleep and suddenly woke up to a really loud noise...my own snoring.

Fell asleep at home in my own bed, mind. Teeth brushed and everything.

I am feeling back to normal, hurrah! I really wasn't feeling at all well last week and I think the kitchen was the last straw.
I have made an appointment with the dentist - like Cremo and NU for crown problems, but mine has already had root canal and post and fallen out again, so not sure what next. Wibble!

OH, fab that you're feeling better, BTM! DP and I were saying we might not be very well, so that combined with a work hiatus is probably it. [brave smile emoticon]

BTM - I had root canal work and a crown, there is now an infection that they can't do anything about, so the next step is having the tooth removed...

MrsS, I think that will be me too, although the only bit left of the tooth is below the gum-line. I think the dentist mentioned the word implant the last time, eek!

I think that teeth are the work of the devil. When I am feeling particularly depressed about them I threaten to have them all out ( and I really would be a crone then). I am incensed that I have lost three good teeth just by agreeing to the wretched bridge.

Sorry you're not so good, MI. Perhaps there is a bug going round and you're on the edge of it. Sympathies about erratic work load. My DSil is self employed and my DH worries about it all the time. I have learnt that the question is "Are you making lots of money?", not "are you busy?" as the two things are not the same. I think I would have been a nervous wreck if DH had been self employed.

I have a minor AIBU. My sister never fails to remind me to send her husband or children birthday cards at the appropriate moment, and a few years ago sent me a coruscating email accusing me of being 'a shit aunt' for not phoning her eldest on his birthday. He was three.

Yet for the past two years has failed to send DP or DS a card. Including this year, by the looks of it.
