Facial Wart :(

Can anyone recommend a cream for removing a small wart on my forehead, please. The Doctor won't treat it because they see it as a "cosmetic treatment" as it's only on my forehead and not causing me any actual problems :( (it is though! every time I look in a mirror my eyes are drawn to it).
So if anyone has treated one themselves can you pleeeese pass on how you did it and what cream or lotion you used.

thanks

I had a couple of moles on my back and my sister had a mole on her face and we used this www.dermatend.com/home-removal/?gclid=CP_suf_ZpL8CFWkOwwodCk4A7A I was very skeptical but it was brilliant. Worked very well. There is a phase when the mole or wart goes black so you'd need to be prepared.

Actually just looked at that link and it says skin tags. The leaflet I've got says mole, wart and skin tag removal.

My friend went with a couple, years ago, and her GP just cut them and a tiny stitch in. It was a 10 minute job and you can't see anything was ever there. Not sure if she had warts or more what is in the link above but my point is I'd go back and see a different DR. Anything that's causing distress and can be treated really easily should be dealt with.

Should say 'cut them off and put a tiny stitch in.

Google apple cider vinegar!

Gonna second the apple cider vinegar. Removed a little wart in under 3 days.

IIRC (it was a few years ago!) I taped a bit of cotton wool soaked in ACV to the wart overnight and spent the next day holding soaked cotton wool to it as much as I could and in about 2 days it turned black and then peeled off rather satisfyingly

Wasn't unbearably painful. Less so than having it frozen at the drs.

Thanks for the replies. DD has got some apple cider vinegar so I shall to and "acquire" some from the bathroom :)

Make sure to put vaseline on the surrounding skin to avoid irritating it.
