Which supermarket for quick holiday wardrobe?

I'm going on a short holiday this Tuesday and have just realised that nothing fits.
It's going to be hot, at least 35degC. I'm only going for 4 days, 3 nights.
I can get to a big 24 hour Tesco and Asda or a smaller Sainsbury's or a small Next.
Which one do you think would be best?
I need shorts and loose t-shirts or dresses with thick enough straps to cover a substantial bra strap.

Do them all & quick. I wouldn't worry about covering bra straps in that heat. Next have some nice vests 2 for £8 -check them all online tonight to see what u like

I don't think I have time to do them all. I have work tomorrow, followed by a meeting at DD's new school. I can get to a 24hr supermarket after the meeting, but next closes too early. Then I have about 3 hours on Tuesday morning before I need to get to the airport.

George at asda is really good. I would imagine you would get most things there. Tescos isnt very good or at least the one thats here.

CeeceeBloomingdale · 29/06/2014 20:30

Why not have a look online and see which has the most appealing selection, then hit that one. If I could I would go from h&m or Primark ideally over a supermarket but probably would choose asda with your brief and I've had more success there previously than the other shops mentioned

dexter73 · 29/06/2014 20:31

If you can get to an H&M then I would recommend them.

mirpuppet · 29/06/2014 20:34

Tesco on line delivers to store next day -- so order tonight. You can return anything that doesn't work/ you don't wear for 28 days.

poorbuthappy · 29/06/2014 20:34

Usually I would say Sainsbury but if it's a smaller 1 then it will be crap.
Tescos. Loads of stuff in there.

Wineandchoccy · 29/06/2014 20:36

Tesco have a sale on, yesterday I bought 2 x pairs of harem pants. They had bikinis/swimsuits, dresses and tops.
I didn't see any shorts though.

jelliebelly · 29/06/2014 20:38

Could you do a Next shop online and collect it all from the shop tomorrow? Free next day delivery if you order before 10pm

Greengardenpixie · 29/06/2014 20:39

Yes, if you order by 10pm you can get free next day delivery to your house! No need to even go to the store.

Greengardenpixie · 29/06/2014 20:39

..from next directory online that is!

Artandco · 29/06/2014 20:43

Where are you going? Are you sure shorts and vest tips are suitable. Ie for religion/ culture etc. even most places close like Italy/ east Europe and of course North Africa would frown a little
( it's only that most places that are 35 degrees already they wouldn't be suitable).

H and m has nice maxi dresses atm.

Blueuggboots · 29/06/2014 20:44

I've just ordered a load of stuff from bhs online. Really reasonable prices (£10 for 2 good quality vest tops, £15 for cropped jeans, £12 for lovely lightweight jersey harem pants) and I'm pretty sure they do next day delivery.

s88 · 29/06/2014 20:44

personally from experience of those shops ki would go to asda

TickledOnion · 29/06/2014 20:45

Next delivery to the shop might work as I'll be out all day tomorrow but could probably pick it up between work and the meeting.
Then I could do Asda after the meeting and hopefully get everything I need.
Thanks everyone.

I think next do evening delivery too so you may still get it to your door. Maybe its depends upon your postcode but here they do 6-9pm.
