If only Zara did Plus Size...

Shall I start a government petition thingy?

Adore the styles and tailoring but their sizing is soo stingy that even on a good day their size 18s clamp round my fatty arms and strains the material. As a substitute I have come across the Mango plus size range but even in the sale I thought their items were on the dear side - what's the quality like? Anything like other stuff in my wardrobe: like Next/Boden/Sainsbury's Tu?

TIA :)

Zara sizing is ludicrously small. I'm a normal size 14 and I gave up shopping in there a long time ago. The fit on their clothes is terrible too.

Zara is my DD2's favourite shop. She age 16, 5'9" and a size 8. What can i say! It all looks fab on her.

I'm a 10 and usually a L in zara Bottoms
It's tough love though as they're the old school sizes ie not vanity sized like everywhere else...
For that style in 18 ish I'd try cos as its less body conscious cut anyway, also parts of next

Plus size? I'd be happy with normal sizes.

KikitheKitKat · 30/06/2014 08:25

Zara can't do plus sizes because the labels wouldn't fit the number of Xs they would need (XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXL = size 18).

LOL, there's another thread currently running where everyone is complaining about vanity sizing - Zara conforms to old-school sizing, and people aren't happy about that, either!

I realise it's probably the opposite people complaining about each.

I agree but that's the problem with continental brands.

In Portugal and Spain you'd have trouble finding anything larger than a size 18 and actual cut of clothes isn't very generous.

My beloved Massimo Dutti is even worse, their cut is tiny.

Massimo dutti is same company!
