House of Fraser returns?

I bought 3 dresses from HofF but none fitted and had to return all 3. I did notice that when I was putting them back in the parcel, I had managed to soil the neck of one of them with my make up. HofF have now refunded only 2 of the dresses. I have to ring them on Monday to find out what's happening with the 3rd but I suspect the problem is that I soiled it. What do you think happens now? Will they not return my money? Each dress was a little over £100. Thanks.

From their website -

You will naturally wish to inspect the products you order and try them on for size. However, whilst you are deciding whether to keep your purchases, you do have a statutory duty to take reasonable care of the goods. Therefore, please ensure you do not damage the items (or the packaging where it forms part of the goods, for example, boxed garments and gift items) and, if you wish to return anything, that it reaches us in perfect condition.

Where you have failed to take reasonable care of the goods, whether whilst in your possession or when returning them, we reserve the right to refund you in full less any amount due by way of compensation, to either repair the goods or to cover any loss.

Thjey will probably knock a bit off the refund for the make-up.

Yes yes to above. If you are paying for it, you get to keep it and decide what you are going to do with it.

I'll talk to them today see what they say. Quite often when I try things on in the shops I notice make up soiling or even deodorant soiling. I thought it was accepted that things like these happen when trying garments on. The dress in question was so tight from the waist up, that I struggled a little to take it off. Funny as I'm pear-sized and a size 8 from the waist up but a size 10 from the waist down.
