These Krisp dresses, what size?

I've been looking at those lovely Krisp dresses recommended on here the other day and have my eye on this lovely knot front one.

I'm between a 10 and a 12 (10 in M&S, Next, Asda, 12 in New look and Primark) and I usually like to try things on. Does anyone own one? Are they generous or not? I'm very hourglass and it's difficult to know what size to get when your proportions are rather extreme!

I'm wearing that same dress in navy today! They are very stretchy, I think you could get away with a 10.

rockybalboa · 24/06/2014 22:34

I'd get the 10. I got two, have worn them both and they are very forgiving. I want more...

Are they very clingy? I'm a big boobed 12 but sometimes go for a 14 so it's not too clingy round the tummy?

Dancergirl · 24/06/2014 23:10

Lovely dress. Do they come up very low cut? Very annoying when your bra shows.

fairlytiredtonight · 24/06/2014 23:14

I've just bought a royal blue one in a 14 but think I'll have to return it. It's not too low cut. It definitely comes up a bit big but the main trouble for me was the length. It hit above the knee on me and I'm 5' 7" and I just think it didn't look quite right.

So, I'd say go for it if you're a little shorter. I thought it was very American Apparel-esque material.

Brilliant thank you I'll order the 10. I'm 5" 5½ fairly so hopefully it wont be too short!

Lovely dress.

I really like this one flowery dress but am 5'9".

Do they come up short?

PeachandBlack · 25/06/2014 08:37

I'm 5' 5" and they are just on my knee. As I said upthread they are very stretchy so you could probably pull it longer if you could be bothered.

iwantgin · 25/06/2014 08:39

Thanks. I am going to go and measure my existing favourite dress now- and see how it compares.

The Krisp dress says it is 86 cm from the shoulder.

PickleMobile · 25/06/2014 08:42

Ooh thanks op, I'd never heard of them before but just ordered 3 cheap but lovely dresses! I've been refusing to pay the £20+ in all the shops for one.

Batmansbuttocks · 25/06/2014 16:51

I'm 5'9" and size 10/12 and I've just bought two. Love them, they are just above the knee Smile

florencepink · 25/06/2014 17:00

Has anyone bought one of the polka dot dresses? and if so are they nice? thanks Smile

rockybalboa · 25/06/2014 23:07

Have a polka dot one and love it. Spots are printed into the fabric rather than woven in so not sure how they will last. Very flattering and not at all clingy round the tummy (huzzah!). Sit right on my knee at 5ft 3, wouldn't want them any shorter for work.

iwantgin · 26/06/2014 07:18

It seems they are the same length as a couple of my existing dresses.

Am tempted....

rollonthesummer · 26/06/2014 07:33

If you were 12-14 and didn't want it too clingy around the tummy (and that flabby bit above your tummy button!) would you go for a 12 or 14??

florencepink · 26/06/2014 14:57

Thanks, think I'll order one too!

rockybalboa · 26/06/2014 22:01

Rollon: 12!
