Any recommendations please?

I am thinking of the Benetint variety. But less pricey. Also not sure if I like the brush applicator of Benetint.

I have had the MeMeMe dupe in the past but Superdrug no longer sells it.

I know The Body Shop do them but when I went in last week the two sales assistant were so in my face i scuttled out before buying anything!

I have seen something called Stainiac on amazon. Has anybody tried that?

Benetint is pricey but I've had mine for over 5 years so pretty good value really.

I absolutely love Benetint for cheeks, but hate it on lips as it's so drying. It is one of the few things I am prepared to pay so much for, as it lasts for so long. Body Shop one is quite good, but again, only on cheeks.

Soap and Glory do a good one

For lips I like Stila pomegranate crush - the tube lasts for ages and doesn't wear off quickly so I think worth the price.

The Body Shop red one is great for lips but not the right colour for my cheeks.

I love the benefit lolly tint for lips and benetint for cheeks (I find it a bit runny for lips)

The balm is a great brand, quirky like benefit, but some great products it a US thing, so should be good!

Givenchy do a lovely lip and cheek balm in their hydra sparkling range. Perhaps a shout if you are getting dry lips?

oliviafrombolivia · 24/06/2014 22:02

Origins used to do a metal tube, which was fab.

I can't really recommend a lip and cheek stain, but you can use your lipstick as a blusher.

I've done it many times - it looks great, doesn't get patchy during the day, lasts well and doesn't seem to make my skin dry oily.
And it can be applied really sheer or be built up.
I apply either with my (clean) ring finger and blend out (like Lisa Eldridge does in this video - about 4 minutes and 10 seconds into the video: www.lisaeldridge.com/video/20384/one-lipstick-different-ways-to-wear-it/#.U6nmp7EuLKc ), or with a stippling brush.

It's not really what you asked for, but I thought I'd mention it anyway :)

All fab replies thank you!

It is lip stain I am most bothered about. I have benefit lollietint which I love for my cheeks but doesn't really show on my lips.

I will look up the Stila one. And thanks for the poster who knew about The Balm background.

I couldn't find the soap and glory one in boots, they used to have an origins pinch your cheeks dupe, like a gel
In a tube? Not sure if they still do it.
