Winter Boden Catherine Coat?

I have been promising myself a Boden velvet coat for years. This is the season I damn well deserve one but the style they'e done isn't the A line I've seen before. It's this What do you think?

Also which colour? i'm thinking delft blue or purple......

I've ordered this, but might cancel. Dithering at the moment. I also always promised myself a velvet coat

I think the blue one looks like something Peter Rabbit might wear. I would go for the purple, but it might depend on your colouring; I think it would suit a dark complexion and not a pale one? It looks like nice quality!

I'm sort of in between. Brown/dark bronze hair, blue eyes.

I like the dark grey. I have a lovely Boden navy velvet coat (nit otherwise a Biden fan at all) and it is fab. You can bung it in the wash, and then tumble dry it and it comes up like new. I know, I know, I sound sooooo old, but it is just really handy to be able to do that.

I'd quite like a long, thick quilted coat.

Purple looks great on pale women :)
I'm pale and have a wool purple winter coat that I've had several people tell me looks great. I think I'd go for the purple, and agree with poster who said the pale blue has Peter rabbit undertones.

It looks a little short. I was thinking of something longer. IIRC, White Stuff had a very similar coat in their Winter collection a couple of years ago.

I love the purple, then the red. Not sure re cut/shape - looks a tad boxy.
