I am looking for a couple of summer going out dresses for nights out & drinking cocktails. Can you help?

I have looked in all the usual places & nothing I am rather disappointed.

I am 41. Size 14/16. 6ft tall.
I will wear above knee, but nothing shorter than mid thigh.
I don't mind my arms being on show or back, I can wear strapless bra, but can't go braless

I'm not keen on busy patterns.

Even names of your favourite shops / links to websites or pinterest would be gratefully received, feel like I'm stuck!!

I just bought 2 completely different summer dresses from Sainsburys.

There has to be something out there.

I've just bought two to choose from for a night of.....eep!....clubbing.

Wasn't certain about this one from Wallis but it fits like a glove and is very flattering. And, reduced to £20, I can overlook the fact that it's polyester.

This one from & Other Stories hasn't arrived yet and is now showing as out of stock on the website but, assuming it arrives, I have high hopes for it. There are various other dresses on their website that might suit.

Glad I didn't want to spend too much or I'd be trying to track down that first Whistles' dress. It's lovely.....
