Clinique Super Double Face Powder - alternative

I absolutely love Clinique Super Double Face Powder, but not the price. Can anyone recommend a good cheaper alternative?

What I like about it is the great coverage - I use it over moisturiser, and then don't need anything else.

Anyone?

There are quite a few cheaper ones out there- Max Factor Face Finity (in the gold compact); Max Factor Creme Puff or Bourjois face powders (they smell divine). I have to say, though, I used to abnsolutely love Super Double Powder. I don't know why i stopped using it (probably price). Having said that, it is good stuff!

If you know anyone who's going Stateside, you could ask them to pick it up for you in the US. The price is usually the same in dollars as we pay in pounds and the exchange rate is good at the moment.

I'm not going til April next year, or I'd offer to bring one back and pop it in the post for you.

Rimmel stay matte pressed powder. About £4 and the only product I buy on repeat (and I worked for clinique for 15 years).

Thanks for the recommendations - will try these, starting with the Rimmel, as it's the cheapest!

Hmm Hmm tried the Rimmel and really not impressed!

Max Factor next. Though by the time I have finished buying lots of alternative cheapies, I may as well have spent the ££ on the Clinique in the first place.

Ho hum.............
