I have this one www.seasaltcornwall.co.uk/waterproof-outdoor-technical-jackets/rain_coats/long-waterproof-northstar-jacket_cormorant.htm

Love it. Did me v well through the wet cold school runs. Which one are you looking at? Should say if it is waterproof or shower proof.

I have their "seafolly" raincoat. Yes it's waterproof (as in, I've been out in very heavy rain and stayed dry!). And really nice. Only criticism is the arms come up the tiniest bit short.

Sleepyhoglet · 16/06/2014 13:49

I love my seafolly

I've got the 'Janelle'. I love it - excellent quality, very well made with lots of detailing.

Hattifattiner · 16/06/2014 14:56

I have a different tin cloth one and it is waterproof. I live in the SW so Seasalt was an obvious starting point!

everythingsgoingsouth · 16/06/2014 15:15

oh,thats fab,thanks all!

Anyone know the difference between a seasalt northstar coat and a janelle coat?
One is slightly shorter and the
Other has a furry hood ... Is one warmer than the other? Can't decide and no shop to visit ...:{

I cannot make your link work but I have a long mac in squid ink colour from Seasalt. I suspect it is the same one. Mine is waterproof.
