Emolient wash for face

I use E45 wash for my eczema and dry skin, prescribed by my doctor. It days on the bottle that it can be used on the face, body and hands. As I am struggling at the moment with my facial skin getting sore, I am wondering if this will be OK to use or is it better to use normal cleansers just for the face. Has anyone else used this?

I can't see why you shouldn't give the E45 a go as a cleanser.

My dermatologist told me to use Aveeno lotion instead of shower gel or soap or water in fact so the idea isn't that left field.

Sorry misread as the E45 lotion itself. But that might be worth a go if the cleanser doesn't work for you?

I find Astral or Ponds Cold Cream v hydrating but gentle. Almost too hydrating sometimes which is annoying as my skin is in the extremes. Combination but my dry areas are extremely dry and my fod looks like an oil slick.
