Nose piercing - yay or nay?

DH is away.

Usually when he goes away (not very often) I end up getting a tattoo of some sort.

I quite fancy getting my nose pierced but have t had a piercing done for about 15 years!

Does anyone have one and love it?

Sorry but I find any piercings except one in each earlobe just tacky.
Nose rings and studs are best left to the animals- bulls or pigs.
On women they look deeply unattractive.
But- your choice.

Ah, when I get mine done then I'll be going for the bull/pig look then Hmm as I'd rather a ring than a stud.

Would recommend this etsy shop for lovely nose things, I have a few from her and they are great.

Yay!
I have had mine for 24 years now Shock
After various studs, I've worn a ring with a ball in the middle for the last 15 years. Tbh I don't even notice it anymore- it's part of who I am Smile

Yes yes do it!! Nose piercings look so cool.

I would love one but have a nose the size of Jupiter, and Jupiter doesn't need any more attention drawn to it.....maybe I'm saving it for when I'm 85 and don't care anymore Grin

My friend has this adorable little turned up nose and has it pierced and looks fab. It's like hers was just made for one.

I haven't got one but love them on other people. Do it - you can always take it out if you don't like it.

Had to laugh at lazysummerdays offering of 'tacky' and 'deeply unattractive'. Wonder what else you find 'tacky'?

I have had mine pierced now for over 20 years. I love it. Always wear studs, i have never wore a ring. I say go for it, you will love it

MonterayJack · 21/06/2014 10:53

From a distance they look like someone has a bogey stuck on their nose, or a spot, to me Hmm

Sicaq · 21/06/2014 12:14

Round 'ere many Asian women have them.

My nose is not a feature that needs more attention drawn to itGrin but if you want one, go ahead. I am multi-tattooed and I haven't even opened the "What do you think of women with tattoos?" thread because I don't give a stuff what folks think.

I love mine, I wear a small silver stud.

specialsubject · 21/06/2014 20:02

be careful - if you are fair skinned it can look like a spot. Which may be why many people don't comment!

I think they look good on darker skins.

but it is your nose, happy piercing!

My bosses are always on to me about my nose piercing, my tongue piercing and wearing mutiple earrings. I do change my nose stud to a tiny stone for work and sometimes take a couple of earrings out. But my tongue has to stay as it is. I love all my piercings and have had them all for many years now. You forget they are even there, although the tongue piercing can be a bit difficult at first and takes getting used to. I would say tp anyone go for it, if you dont then like it you can take it out.

Standinginline · 06/07/2014 14:33

BodyJewelleyShop UK do real small studs :) people hardly notice mine.
