Saltwater sandal challenge

tethersend · 15/06/2014 15:59

I want some yellow ones for DD in an infant size 7 (uk 6)... Thought I'd found them and ordered some- but have just received an email from the company to say they do not have them.

Has anyone seen any?

Any links to other decent, tough yellow sandals in a 6 would be welcome too Smile

They cost too much here.

ScrambledSmegs · 15/06/2014 19:10

Are you sure she's a 7? I bought my DDs some from Olive Loves Alfie the other day and both needed their current uk sizes. They aren't traditional Uk sizes for kids.

phoneyjoanie · 15/06/2014 19:11

Have you tried ringing One Small Step?

aprovinciallady · 15/06/2014 19:13

Millymog sells them.

NoArmaniNoPunani · 15/06/2014 19:14

I got mine from toast, not sure if they do children's sizes but they have yellow

boulie · 15/06/2014 19:16

Otherwise Livie & Luca have some lovely yellow shoes

bamboostalks · 15/06/2014 19:17

I got these for my dd in pink. Know they're too big for your dd but someone else might like. They're v similar and rather nice in rl. Those saltwaters are outrageously priced over here. Have you got friends stateside? That's what I have done. Half the price.

ScrambledSmegs · 15/06/2014 19:18

So - Sun-San Sandals

Any good?

spottydolphin · 15/06/2014 19:27

i agree with not needing to size up

tethersend · 15/06/2014 19:40

Ohh, really?

Scrambled, thanks- not sure how I missed those!

DD is a 6 1/2- should I not size up to a 7?

OP posts:
tethersend · 15/06/2014 19:41

They are pricy... But I think I'm going to press the fuck-it button.

I bought my daughter hers in her same size, i didn't size up.

CoconutAmericano · 15/06/2014 19:47

Actually yea if she's 6 1/2 i would buy the 7.

bamboostalks · 15/06/2014 19:48

These are the sandals!

Forgot to link.

aprovinciallady · 15/06/2014 19:58

I think they are worth it, we've had other sandals (including Livie & Luca) that barely last the summer, but we have Saltwaters that are on to their second summer now. And my kids are hard on shoes.

BikeRunSki · 15/06/2014 20:04

just little feet

Indrpendent shoe shop near me sells them; kids and adult sizes. I believe she posts out.

LinusDKD · 15/06/2014 20:05

I ordered some white ones for my DD from Amazon.com and they also sell them in yellow saltwater

I don't live in the UK and did have to wait a bit for delivery but I am very happy with them and especially with the price which was the cheapest I found online.

expatinscotland · 15/06/2014 20:10

My kids have never worn the same size shoe for two summers.
