Anyone bought from mod cloth?

evening all, just doing a bit of online retail therapy, whilst watching the footy.

i'm forever browsing the modcloth app - has anyone here ever bought anything from them?

what was the quality like? And the delivery? did you have to pay loads in customs fees?

I have wondered the exact same thing myself, so would be interested in the responses to this. One thing I have noticed is that some of the suppliers are UK based, so you could go direct to them. For example, Fever is one of the suppliers and are London based.

I bought 4 dresses. The quality and sizing was very inconsistent and I had to pay the UPS man £50 in customs on top of the not insubstantial delivery fee I'd already paid.

I haven't used them again.

eyeliner, that's exactly what I was worried about. they have such a lot of lovely stuff but wonder how much of it is down to good photography... although I do like looking at the "community" photos.

and sounds like any savings are quickly swallowed up by the customs.

I have bought 2 dresses from there, size and quality were both fine, delivery was pretty prompt but had loads of problems with ups so I wouldn't order from there again, custom charges were £30, recommend tracking down the uk suppliers though, louche is one and I was able to get a dress id seen on mod cloth for quite a bit less, I do love the stuff on there though
