Shoes with harem pants

I have some of the Next jersey harem pants, and love them. Thing is, ballet flats were cool in summer/spring, but I have no idea what to wear with them in winter when I need warm feet! Do I just have to hibernate them? Help!

Ankle boots? - they aren't warm enough for the winter IMO.

Thank you - love the flat boots. I'm hoping they'll be warm enough with tights underneath, so might pop them on and go shoe shopping Grin
