So my Alpha H Gold arrived, what next?

I'm sick of my congested pores and read that this stuff was really good for sorting them out and brightening up skin.

I have 100ml Liquid Gold, plus the smoothing and perfecting mask plus the rejuvenating cream.

Any advice from regular users? I'm aware that I'll need to put SPF on during the day but a bit scared to start using it!

If you haven't used any AHAs before start slowly, use the liquid gold on damp cotton wool pads at first. Start with 2 nights a week, build up to every other night. Don't follow with any moisturiser afterwards.

On the nights you're not using Liquid Gold use the rejuvenating cream.

The mask use once a week, on clean skin, remove after 10mins. At first follow with a non glycolic cream but once you're used to them use rejuvenating cream afterwards.
For a double whammy you can wipe over with liquid gold before the mask - only once you're used to it though!

Most importantly use an SPF every day as it will make your skin much more sensitive to uv

It's not instant by any means but yes, I have no blackheads any more and it fades the red marks/scars from breakouts really quickly.

Their balancing cleanser is brilliant too.

I used the Liquid Gold three nights in a row when I first got it, but I have completely non sensitive skin. This product is AMAZING for clearing spots and blackheads, completely different than anything else I've tried. It's like it reconfigures the structure of your pores. Cannot recommend it highly enough. After some advice on here I apply it straight to my face, rather than using a cotton pad which would absorb (waste) some of the product. Don't add any moisturiser as that reduces the effect.

I might give this another try. I used it years ago but couldn't stand the dry, tight, tingling feeling. But my skin is such a hormonal mess I need something.

I first got it in a kit off QVC and didn't like the cleanser or moisturiser, but is might try it as a standalone product again.

I chickened out last night and just used the cream. I realised none of my moisturisers have SPF, so need to buy some tomorrow (my foundation does, and I go out in the sun very, very little during the day anyway as I work full time, but wasn't going to risk it).

Will get some SPF moisturiser tomorrow and may try it tomorrow night Any you can recommend Shop?

I had an amazing Chanel one (UV Essential I think) which was amazing, but I read the formula has changed so haven't bought it again

Actually I have never used any of the AHA products (clicked out of curiosity), but the spf moisturiser I would recommend is Alpha H! it's excellent. And reasonably priced I think.
