how much sunscreen for face do you use?

just wondered how much i need to slap on to get decent coverage/protection.

I use city block - about a pea sized amount but I wonder if that is too little...

Yes, it is too little.

Guidelines by the Cancer Council (here in Australia, anyway) say you need to use at least half a teaspoon on your face. Measure it and see - it's a lot more than you'd think.

This is one of the reasons why I don't buy expensive sunscreens; it discourages you from using enough.

Most bottles contain 8 max full coverings .

I use a face moisteriser with SPF 30 on face daily ( winter and summer ) and prob use 1/2 teaspoon suggested
