Anyone have regular facials?

So I made a promise to myself that as i turned 45 at Christmas I would have a facial every month to take better care of my skin - it's now June and I had my first one yesterday!
It was pleasant and my skin feels well moisturised today too but I don't really get whether that's because there's still product on it or whether what she did can actually make a difference to my skin beyond 24 hours iyswim?
Does anyone have a facial regularly - is that going to help?

Depends what kind of facial to be honest, your standard ones in the majority of beauticians are just deep cleanses which are more relaxing than effective at anti ageing. Then you have your caci, lifting, microdermabrasion ones which are more targeted. If I were you I would book a consultation at a skincare clinic (free usually) to see what they recommend for your specific skin concerns.
