My young cousin has asked for info on good brands which won't irritate her skin, esp foundation.

I said mn could help. Anything greatly appreciated.

Bare minerals, the Matt version as it doesn't contain bismuth which can irritate. The original contains it.

Revlon colour stay is excellent applied with a damp beauty blender.

Depending on coverage as it's fairly sheer then no 7 stay perfect is great as they do a colour match with a machine.

Lily Lilo is good tooSmile

Oo, thanks. I'd wondered about minerals - I use them myself, must check to see if it contains bismuth.

I use Veil Cover Cream to cover my melasma but it is recommended by dermatologists for Rosacea and other conditions too
It is a very thick concealer type - I use this as a base ,only in my affected areas then all normal make up on top ie bronzer ,blush, highlighter so it just seems like normal face of make up
They have their own website and you can order a tester selection to do a colour match first

Lily Lolo mineral makeup. It's skin friendly and pocket friendly at £13 for a pot which lasts months.

Bare Minerals has fillers in which they call "earths minerals". I suffer from rosacea and BM irritates.

If she has a slightly higher budget she could try Bellapierre or Inika. Both are lovely but £25 a pot.

It's hard to find liquid make up which doesn't irritate. Trial and error.
