Epilator - does anyone else get this?

I use an epilator, but have noticed recently that I get little bleeds under the skin. Does anyone else get this or am I getting old and should switch to shaving again? I haven't shaved since I was 18 - I'm now 51.

I get this too. Tiny little bruises. Quite new to the epilator though.

I get it in some area's where the hair is coarser and more strongly rooted, over time hair roots tend to be weakened by epilating so I think it may reduce

I think OP had used it for 30 years or so.
