Eyebrow waxing accident

I suppose I should start by saying that I found the Bliss Poetic Waxing kit very easy to use, although a bit messy.

I've stupidly waxed way too much in between my brows and the inside starts well over my eye. It's like they've been pulled apart at the sides of my head.

They look like this:

O O

This is how they should look:

Anyway. What miracle rapid grow stuff can I use? How long will they take to grow back? Any tips on makeup?

help....

NO! My carefully constructed eyebrows didn't work in my post.

They should not be a unibrow! Why did it do that? You can see the week I'm having.

Don't worry, people will think its a new trend, just 'work it'.

iK8 · 09/06/2014 13:49

Do you have a marker pen?

tharsheblows · 09/06/2014 14:03

This is not helpful! Smiling does me no favours. I'm ok if I scowl though - my forehead is so crinkly it's hard to tell the eyebrows are missing.

Could you pencil them in? With a proper eyebrow pencil in a natural colour? Teeny tiny strokes like individual hairs is best.

nippysweetie82 · 09/06/2014 14:12

Cut off some pubic hair and use eyelash glue to stick it to your brow line. Sorted! Unless the carpet doesn't match the curtains.

iK8 · 09/06/2014 14:14

Eye lash glue is only tacky. You need super glue for pube-brows. I expect.

Snapespeare · 09/06/2014 14:15

Benefit - gimme brow. Like mascara for eyebrows. Might help?

nippysweetie82 · 09/06/2014 14:19

ik8 - sounds like the voice of experience.

tharsheblows · 09/06/2014 14:23

I am going to try pencilling them in - the problem is that it did an excellent job and it is completely smooth. My actual eyebrows are somewhat more three dimensional. I think once they start growing back in, even a little, the makeup will work better.

Pubes as eyebrow rugs is genius! We should start a business. "From your bush to bushy eyebrows" could be the tagline.

Gimme Brow sounds good too.

Has anyone tried those eyelash / eyebrow serums? Are they worth a go?

Grin nippy

Jumblebee · 09/06/2014 14:39

Oh dear :-/ I was told once that if you over pluck the start of the eyebrows (the part nearest the nose) it never grows back.

I over plucked my eyebrows there and they have never grown back, so I have to pencil them in (which looks ridiculous but I still do it!)

Sorry this post is not much help Confused

TroyMcClure · 09/06/2014 14:39

lol At OP error

Lweji · 09/06/2014 14:40

Among different styles, I'd recommend this balaclava till they grow back.

I wish. Not true, sadly. Sad

JenniMoo · 09/06/2014 15:56

Mine are over plucked in the middle and growing back really slowly. I've ordered some stuff (like rapidbrow but cheaper) on amazon and just waiting for it to arrive.

I'm pretty sure it'll grow back in - this is the first time I've done that part of my eyebrows, so there's been no regular overplucking but I do pluck the bits that have uni-browish tendencies and those come back.

JenniMoo, I'm going to try RapidLash I think. I'm in the rural US at the moment so not a lot of choice but think I can get it at the local pharmacy (a good 30 minute drive away).

The balaclava looks good, it would definitely suit my face, but is perhaps a bit warm for summer.

I'm kind of having hair anxiety too. It was cut short a couple of weeks ago and everyone here says they love it. Which would be great, except this is my mother and her sisters and they, um, don't have a sense of style I particularly want to emulate and now I'm becoming complete neurotic.

It doesn't particularly matter, I suppose, because no one sees me. When I get back to London next week it might be an issue though, so I will look for a hair helmet like in the pic below, although I would end up looking like this.
