I brought this dress and I love it, it was fab yesterday. Decent length to not show off less than perfect thighs or my underwear, the cross over was modest enough to cover my bra (usually hardest area as im a h cup) and didn't crease.

I am pretty sure I am going to be told no way can I un mumsy it. I know its not going to be cutting edge and that's not my style. I am more comfort driven but in a dress and skirt way, I never wear trousers or any sort, except leggings for running and the gym.

I think the problem is I wore it with my birkenstocks. (gizeh) what kind of sandal would move it into chicer territory?

thanks

I really like it, and don't think it is overly mumsy. I would wear it with some wedges like the model. Or some dressier flats than Birkies.

Thurlow · 09/06/2014 14:00

It's a lovely colour. Wedges would probably be less 'mum' than Birkenstocks.

HelpMeGetOutOfHere · 09/06/2014 14:14

thanks, will get looking for wedges.

Oooh I quite like it in the navy actually - might order it... What's the sizing like? The reviews suggest generous?

HelpMeGetOutOfHere · 09/06/2014 14:50

I have the navy floral and the green spot, debating ordering the other 2 as well. It is generous, im a 12 and ordered the 10/12, I think if it had been single sizing I would definitely have gone for the 10.

I like it, particularly the green/navy. I wouldn't care what anyone else thinks as long as you love it. Anyway I thought fugly, flat sandals were cool at the moment?

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 09/06/2014 15:09

I love it and birkies are in this year!

yorkierocks123 · 09/06/2014 15:18

the dress is nice not mummy if you wore it with wedges - defers not birkies

Nocomet · 09/06/2014 16:11

I have a John Rohca dress very like the blue floral version. Not Mumsy with stappy sandals or a touch of a wedge.

Brics are mummsy, as are tho use cardigans.

I really like the navy and green.

Nocomet · 09/06/2014 16:13

14/16 very tempting as I don't always have the norks for 16 cross overs.

Floisme · 09/06/2014 16:31

Oi! What's wrong with a cardigan? Grin

HelpMeGetOutOfHere · 09/06/2014 16:34

I didn't have a cardi far too warm for that. I ordered the ones I have with the 30% off code they had a few weeks ago. Just looked for another code but can't find one.

If anyone is a size 20 upwards in the sale section women's dresses plus size they have last years colours for £30. My sister got the green one and it looks fab on her very flattering.
