How would you finish off this outfit?

It's for a wedding. I know it might not look like a standard wedding outfit but I wanted to go for a bit of a 40s feel. I've got some gorgeous pale grey Mary Jane style heels and a vintage blue clutch to go with it, and possibly pearls (depending on if that is overkill with the pearl collar). I might get some tights with a seam up the back?

I'm going to attempt to get some red lipstick that suits me, but I can't work out what to do with my hair. I have a short, fine bob that doesn't hold a style, and we've actually got to drive several hours straight to the venue so I can't do anything when I get there! I'll probably straighten it in the morning and then give it a bit of a backcomb/upside down hairspray at the last minute. But I was wondering if some sort of fascinator would be ridiculous or jazz it up a bit?

Any other thoughts?

Then I'll just work on how I can keep the dress vaguely uncreased on the drive up...

I would go with a slightly vintage fascinator, not too big. Possibly not the pearls though.

I'd probably avoid the string of pearls with the collar, but instead of a fascinator, how about something like this type but in a more suitable colour?

There's quite a few similar on Ebay/Folksy etc, or you could probably pick something up in your nearest vintage shop either.
