I'm a primer Virgin...please save me the trauma of buying the rubbish ones. I am fairly poor so reasonably priced suggestions please and thank you.

I use bare minerals oil control primer .

You could always buy a BB cream, as that turns your face into Flawless. Free capital letter, too :)

I like Boots' No 7 - and they have £3 off make up vouchers until Father's Day. Or you could try any from a make up brand you normally use.

Ooh just got stuck in to reading bare minerals primer reviews...I am completely sold, it sounds amazing stuff. I might go for the neutralising one though as I have some red marks.

What's BB cream?

Think the official definition is Busy B***s cream haha - they are about 5-9 products in one, including primer, SPF, and moisturiser. Great for making you still look good 8 hours later :)

Here are Vogue's Top 10 - www.vogue.co.uk/beauty/2012/06/29/10-best-uk-bb-creams---beauty-benefit-balms-with-spf

If you hit up the beauty counters in big dept stores they may offer free samples, if you say you're interested in trying a BB cream.

You will need a bit of blush/eye shadow or lippy for definition as the BB cream acts as kind of an airbrush, but you don't want your face to disappear!
