I am quite excited. Just waiting for my boots delivery then gonna do it later. Shall I leave the socks on for the hour?

I think I'm going to stick with the Flexitol and cheese grater (pedegg) because I can't stand the idea of spending a week wearing enclosed shoes, if the weather continues like this!

OP, very disappointed for you. I love a good peel. Sad

sacbina · 18/06/2014 20:18

whilst it wasn't the miracle peel I had seen in all the pictures, and wasn't quite as good as I'd hoped for (hooves changed for baby soft toes) it has made the skin softer and somehow easier for my micropedi to do its shaving thing. then yesterday bought a cheap foot file thing from waitrose and gave them a really good scrub.

my feet haven't felt or looked so good in years! will do another sock treatment in a few weeks to hopefully loosen up the remaining bits on the heels.

I'm actually very pleased with the result as at least I can now stay on top of the hard skin instead of it being a constant battle

spookyskeleton · 18/06/2014 20:44

sacbina I am at the same point as you Smile it wasn't the miracle I was hoping for but it did make my feet slightly softer. my aim is to now keep on top of this, as best I can, with my express pedi and various foot creams rather than constantly feel like I am fighting a losing battle as I have done over the last few years. My feet have also never looked so good although they are not perfect.

Am going to buy one of the Purederm ones to use before my holiday though Smile

...and this is what an hour of playing netball in sweaty trainers with no socks does!

I am very impressed that this has happened after just two days. No sandals for me tomorrow though! Grin

I honestly don't know how you can resist picking all that amazing dead skin off! My fingers are itching to pick your feet!

Mmmmmmm...

WingDefence · 18/06/2014 22:15

Of course I haven't resisted!! But I've been quite careful not to go into where it hasn't naturally started peeling and stopping when it gets at all tight. It's much thicker than I imagined too on the bottom, it really feels like a few layers of skin is peeling off.

MeAndMySpoon · 18/06/2014 22:23

Looking at the photos, it really doesn't look to me like thick enough skin is coming off. If you have horrible horny old heels, has it really worked well enough to soften them?

FergusSingsTheBlues · 18/06/2014 22:51

Would it work on me face?

sacbina · 18/06/2014 23:08

it certainly worked on my horny heels, and they were hooves believe me

nyldn · 19/06/2014 03:07

Is this safe to use during pregnancy? I'd really love to try it as soon as I start my maternity leave when I'll probably be just hanging around the house waiting!

JenniMoo · 19/06/2014 07:24

My feet didn't look too bad during the process as I soaked for ages each night and all the buts dropped off in the water. It was pretty grim but meant there were t huge bits hanging off.
I'm pleased with my feet now, will definitely do it again, but might try the cheaper options!

JenniMoo · 19/06/2014 07:26

And on the website it says not for pregnant mothers because your skin could be more sensitive. If it were me I'd probably try it as my skin's never sensitive...

madammecholet · 19/06/2014 10:12

SO im on day 6, not inc soaking day, & i've got rough & very very dry scaly skin but not the hoards of skin coming off as in the pictures. I've soaked every day... anything I can do to speed thigs up or is this the extent of it?

Joey8 · 19/06/2014 11:16

This sounds amazing, im definitely going to have to try this.

sacbina · 19/06/2014 11:38

madammecholet - mine were like this too. when soaking one night I started rubbing the skin and lots came off. then more and more. I didn't have the peeling feet, but it has worked for me

madammecholet · 19/06/2014 11:57

Thanks sacbina, did you just rub them with your hand or did you use a foot file/pedegg on them?

Just soaked them in water and rubbed a bit and water was full of bits - but no big chunks coming off my hoofy heels Hmm

JenniMoo · 19/06/2014 12:11

Only rub gently with hands or a towel as you'll make them sore if you rub too much. I soaked for at least an hour each evening.

sacbina · 19/06/2014 12:14

just rubbed with fingers and it all started to disintegrate. might have had a bit more of a scrape with fingernails on the hoofy heels bit Blush

just kept rubbing at each soak until it seemed obvious that no more would come off. then used my micropedi, then a cheap foot file thing for a final vigorous rub down

LulaPalooza · 19/06/2014 13:05

I am so excited! Ordered some from Boots, picking it up tonight. I am dreaming of soft, smooth feet for the first time in about a gazillion years

MrsAlwaysRight · 19/06/2014 19:10

Got mine on as I type. Thought I'd make the most of DH being out watching football!

My feet are feeling very warm though - did anyone else's feet feel like this or is an allergic reaction?

LulaPalooza · 19/06/2014 20:38

Got mine on too, they do feel a bit warm but I've got thick socks on over the top. The left one leaked a bit when I put my foot up so sitting with feet flat on the floor and wiggling. It's distraction from the footie!

FreeButtonBee · 19/06/2014 20:39

Also got mine on. DH is beside me and making faces. Little does he know what's ahead!!!

I used them last year and they did make a difference. The peeling is minging but awesome.

CastilianHhhhidalgo · 19/06/2014 22:31

Still not a lot happening to mine, I'm trying not to be disappointed. They are looking very shiny though and I'm sure my feet aren't normally this shiny......
