Less is more with skin care

Is it true do you think that less is more when it comes to skin care?

Yes

What do you mean by 'less is more'?

Maybe the simpler your skincare routine is, the better your skin looks?

Perhaps because if you used lots of products your skin gets confused and reacts differently to all of them and ends up getting congested.

Sorry double posted there. I mean using less products and ones that are more basic.

I don't know about more basic...

I use a creamy cleanser with a flannel twice a day (no 7) followed by serum (no 7) and moisturiser (clarins). I exfoliate once or twice a week. If my jaw line is congested I use quinoderm cram on that area.

My skin looks great with this routine. For me it's not really about how much I use or what products but making sure that I take time to do it and take care of myself. It is also v noticeable if I am using crap moisturiser as my skin is quite dehydrated.
