petite clothing.

So petite ladies. Where do you get your clothes from on line.
Are they good quality. And value for money? can't be bothered to look round shops at the moment. Thanks.

I buy normal clothes and have them altered. I'm 5 ft tall.

I get most things altered tbh.
I do sometimes get bits from dot Perkins, asos.

Next petite range suits me. Plus they have a selection in the range.

Gap started a petite range recently, but their sizing is really strange, so I never know what size I should should get, so I haven't tried it.

Just got some good skinny jeans from New Look.

Next jeans/ trousers are the right length for me but all seem to fit weirdly on me so I have given up with them.
ASOS petite.

I only really buy petite trousers and jeans though as it is just my legs that are short.

Thanks for your replies. I get away with non petite size 8 tops yet its always trousers and jeans that i struggle with. With next online can you just buy or is it pay monthly etc...have also been put of gap by weird sizing but good quality.

I recently bought gorgeous jeans in Matalan petite, I am 5ft and size 6 and they fit! I buy from eBay too.

Gap petite is good but I also have a problem with getting the sizing right.. I'm now an xs! (usually 10/12)

I am struggling at the moment my body composition has changed so much in the last 8months due to weight training and diet that I have now had to bite the bullet and have clothes taken in. Length wise even petite range is way too long I am 4ft 10ins

Boden has petite sizing. LK Bennett, ASOS, Baukjen, Zara size 6.

I don't buy long styles like maxi dresses without trying in a shop, but otherwise those brands should generally work.

Dorothy Perkins at the moment - suits my age (posted about this a while ago as I felt in-betweeny) and my had two children 'physique.'

Trousers and jeans from next too, I love their harem trousers.

Interesting about GAP- I tried on a pair of capri trousers in there last week in a size 8 and they were massive. I'm normally a 10 with my big ass, there's no way I'm a 6. Really puts me off trying the petite range and trying to figure out sizes.

• ASOS: Really, really wide selection, but I usually wait until there's a sale on as the stuff is too pricey considering the quality imo.
• Next: Pretty good, but also guilty of vanity sizing. Good choice online.
• Dorothy Perkins: I have a few bits and pieces but not overly impressed by the quality. Good value for basics though.
• Banana Republic: Argh so so nice, but pricey. Wait until they have a sale on and go mad.

Topshop is ok ish but overpriced I think. I got some high waisted black jeans from asos petite last week and I am really impressed they fit perfectly. Would reccomend them.

Boden petite, primarily. Large range, and I am reliably a 10 petite there.

M and S can have some ok stuff, but not much.

I have some Gap petite long sleeve t shirts and a cardi, which are true to size, but their dresses come up huge.

I like Banana Republic, but I find their petite range big on the chest and small on the waist.

Some White Stuff normal range stuff is good. Their website gives the length measurement of their tops which is useful. I am 5 foot 1 and I find any tops 60 cm or shorter work for me.

Phase Eight stretchy dresses or short dresses are also good for me. The stretchy dresses are simple to shorten. The mimi silk dress which they have at the moment is a great length for me.
