Wedding dress help/opinions please

I'm getting married in a few months and put off dress shopping as I wanted to lose weight but alas it hasn't happened and now I'm in a panic!

I found this dress in a sale but it has a slight imperfection which can't be mended (pull) and I cannot find the style number to try and source another one (shop cut them off). It's a Morilee and not the style I had in mind but I do really like it.

Dreadful posture in the pic, it was after a long day at work, honest opinions would be greatly appreciated (I have a thick skin and already suspect I'm a bit big to pull off this style).

Also if anyone can help find the style number I would be so so grateful Grin

I don't think you are too big for the style, but that dress is a terrible fit. It needs to be pulled down 3-4 inches so that it isn't giving you a weird short chest.
It is a nice dress and you look like you have a lovely figure btw :)

Thank you and I do agree about the fit, it would need definitely need altered.

I have been searching for days and cannot find an image of this dress Sad

It gives you amazing curves. I Agee though that the fit around the bust is wrong. Looks too big and comes up too high. I do think if you got it altered it would be really nice.

I will try to find it but first want to say that it gives you a great hourglass figure so go for it if you can find it, it really is lovely.

VestaRose · 04/06/2014 21:01

Thank you, I think I have found it, it's Roland Joyce, Victoria Jane 17752. They said it was mori lee. It is also 2014 collection so I think it's on sale as it is damaged. I doubt it will find a retailer selling it within my timescale (11 weeks) Sad

The pull is on the front on the dress, small but cannot be disguised. Has anyone noticed on the pic?

Can see the pull I'm afraid.
That's one that you've found.
Hope someone can do it for you in a rush.
Or a ring round stockists for one that you can just buy?

VestaRose · 04/06/2014 21:30

Thanks yes armed with the contact details of the stockists and will call around. I was fully prepared to be told it was too big to pull this cut/style off Blush

You might be able to get a new one in time, possibly if you pay a rush fee - Ronald Joyce are not that slow to come in stock, a friend of mine had a Roland Joyce dress and a short timescale and I'm pretty sure she got it in that time. Worth asking anyway.
