...for my 42nd birthday in a few weeks. since having 2 dc I am prone to spots, especially around my period. I prefer products that aren't highly scented (hence I use my dh's nivea for men moisturiser). I'm not particularly good at cleansing everyday, but I don't always wear make up and then very minimal.

I've no idea about brands and names, am not good at asking for advise, and generally get whatever's on offer in Boots

Bioderma global moisturiser is very good for break out skin

sebium global I think it's called. Don't be fooled by the gentle cucumber smell as it's powerfull stuff. I use it as moisturiser on dryer bits but also as treatment spot cream on break out areas. It's very efficient at clearing things up and fading spots.

thanks for that. read some reviews and concerned it may be a bit harsh for my skin. I only have a few spots but do have sensitive skin

any other ideas?
