Posted in chat but realised here was probably a better place to post!

I'm looking for light ish control- say slightly more that your average pair of marks and spencer tights. I have a post c section tummy (of nearly a yearBlush) and am actually going out this weekend! I've tried spanx in the past (before pregnancy) and whilst I'd like my tummy to be held in a bit, I'd also like not to burst a blood vessel getting them on and also to be able to breathe!!

I bought a pair in sainsbury's for a fiver (emergency, end of the day really important meeting type of thing) it's been fab!
It's a lace pair, I wore them with a tight fitting heavy jersey dress. Got my normal size :)

Thanks! Will check it out!

Yes for light control and easy to get on I have pairs from asda and tesco that are fab Smile.

Might not be everyone's cup of tea but I like M&S control bodies. Nice shape and more comfortable than control pants that don't stay up Grin.

I bought some in Sainsburys (£8) for "Pear" shaped figures.
Not worn them yet, but they are nice fabric

Primark one are good and not too restrictive.

Blackjackcrossed · 04/06/2014 07:09

I have a spanx skort, it's not too restrictive, described as light control.

Thanks for these! I'm leaning towards a control slip at the moment. Trying to decide which though. Although I am tempted to try one of the supermarket ones suggested too.
Thanks!Smile

Peacocks have these shorts style control knickers ( but not as long as cycling shorts). They are great because they don't go in at the groin so create a smoother line for post c-section stomachs. They hold you in a little too and stay put but aren't pants of steel. I bought loads as I didn't want to run out but they are still in store and about £6.

ohmymimi · 04/06/2014 10:19

I'd second Peacocks for economy shape wear.

AmIGoingMad · 04/06/2014 22:52

Just seen these! Thanks! About how much are the peacocks ones? And do they do the control slips too?
