Body shop must haves?

outtheothersidefinally · 03/06/2014 14:47

I've kindly been given vouchers. I've spent some and have £25 left. I bought face mask, eye make up remover, face spray, eye gel. Practical stuff.

What are your must haves?

Thank you!

Peppermint foot lotion is gorgeous. Their satsuma shower gel is fab if that's your sort of thing - I can still smell it in the bathroom at the end of the day when I've showered in the morning!

Have heard rave reviews about their make up brushes although haven't used them myself

ThatBloodyWoman · 03/06/2014 14:56

Hemp hand cream

daisydaisys · 03/06/2014 15:00

Facial roller - great for massaging in facial oils (if that's your kind of thing!) It's also relatively cheap... Can you combine vouchers with offers? The Body Shop is often doing offers - check either voucher codes, or ask a friend with O2 to check their O2 priority moments. That way you can get more for your money!

Also I second the satsuma shower gel - all of their fruity shower gels are delicious!

The almond shower gel is gorgeous too.

I used to buy alot of their make-up (in fact I did my own wedding make-up using Body Shop ) but recently I've found the lipsticks are too dry for me Sad

I have some Body Shop brushes from 1988/ 1990 and they are still going strong Grin

TommyandGina · 03/06/2014 15:07

Lip stain, it's £10 and gives great colour to lips that does last for hours, even with a gloss/lipsyl over it. I couldn't recommend it enough

outtheothersidefinally · 03/06/2014 15:09

Love the lip stain!

Very impressed with the quality of the makeup in general. Definitely up there with the designer brands like MAC etc.

Reverse lip liner.

squoosh · 03/06/2014 15:29

Camomile Cleansing Butter
Serum in Oil (which is just an oil despite the name)
Vitamin E Night Cream
Facial Roller

squoosh · 03/06/2014 15:29

But yes wait till their monthly 40% sale before buying.

outtheothersidefinally · 03/06/2014 15:35

Every month?

OP posts:
squoosh · 03/06/2014 15:43

Yes at least once a month. If you sign up for their mailing list they will email to let you know when they're on. I think the promotions are in store as well as online so your vouchers should get you twice as much.

daisydaisys · 03/06/2014 16:03

I second (or third) the lip stain...

Cahu5 · 03/06/2014 18:21

Honey powder bronzer....really, really good.

SuperFlyHigh · 03/06/2014 18:28

Their makeup brushes are quite good. Body butters are nice, hemp hand lotion and if it suits you the navy eyeliner is v good.

SuperFlyHigh · 03/06/2014 18:28

Oh the honey stuff looked nice last time I was in there.

chanie44 · 03/06/2014 19:03

I agree with waiting until they have a 40% off day so make your voucher go further. My faves are:

Hemp hand and foot cream
Almond nail oil
Blue corn facial mask
Olive soap
Mini facial exfoliator brush

outtheothersidefinally · 03/06/2014 19:18

I got, with all the vouchers, the lip stain, 3 eye shadows, their version of radiant touch, elderflower eye gel, vitamin e moisture spray, eyeliner, mascara, eye make up remover, shower gel..

They had loads of offers on, so my vouchers got me loads of treats!

I also have £15 off next purchase with loyalty card!

Honey bronzer ...... Use every day, lovely and natural and has lasted a year! As good as the ££££ Guerlain bronzer I had for 3 times the price.

lazypepper · 03/06/2014 19:32

Hemp hand cream.
BB cream. I bought some almost two years ago so am not sure if they still sell it.
Moringa shower gel and perfume. Lovely light scent.

oohdaddypig · 03/06/2014 19:33

The hemp body butter is amazing, especially for dry/eczema-d skin

Also love their new coconut roller ball for lips

chanie44 · 03/06/2014 20:21

I love the lip roller ball moisturiser too. I get the mint one.

rubyflipper · 03/06/2014 20:30

Camomile cleansing balm
Peppermint foot lotion
Cocoa body butter
Rainforest clarifying shampoo

I still haven't forgiven them for discontinuing the sweet lemon body butter.

outtheothersidefinally · 03/06/2014 20:55

Also got the rainforest shampoo. It's excellent.

Had forgotten how good Bodyshop is! Thanks for your help!

Body butter and their shower gels. Both lush
