I am trying to update my wardrobe. And just been looking at closet dresses on johnlewis website which i liked. But i am really lacking in confidence with fashion at the moment. I feel i need a bit of guidance to make sure i dont make any fashion disasters!
Please dont tell me to wear them if i like them. I am keen to look a bit more trendy and like i have a clue what to wear. I am 34 btw

It's not my style, too girly / 50s references. But as part of an overall feminine girly look I think they're nice. Hard to tell the quality from the website, they look suspiciously polyestery.

Ok thanks. I did wonder about about the quality as it seems quite cheap.

I have a closet dress and for the price I would say the quality is quite good!

StatisticallyChallenged · 03/06/2014 16:25

I have a few and would agree, for the price the quality is good ime. I would say the ones I have are better than say Oasis/Warehouse which would probably be slightly more expensive

I think they are a bit hit and miss. You'd need to try them on.

PearlyGrey · 03/06/2014 17:17

I agree with needing to try them on - I've had two from them which I love and are really flattering, every other one I've tried has been horrible/awkward fitting. Seems a bit luck of the draw!

Ok. Thanks. Maybe need to get myself to a department store

Sorry to be a bit dim but what's a closet dress?

BitOutOfPractice · 03/06/2014 21:54

I had to google to find out MsVenus - it's a brand

And I cannot tell you how "me" they look! I need to get to a JL soon!
