Quick help please, would a suede handbag be a bad idea?

I've found a suede handbag which I really like, with an extra 20% off until tomorrow, but I'm a bit worried it would get ruined if it got wet in the rain etc. Would a suede protector spray work and if so can anyone recommend one please!

Thank you.

If you really like it and are not prone to long walks in the rain then go for it.
I always think you regret the things you don't buy rather than the things you do.

I had a suede bag for years, it just improved as it got tattier iykwim? You need to spray it with a protector - any old one will do the job. I can't tell the difference between dh's and expensive one and a cheap one.

Grin

It had sold out by the time I went back to order. It wasn't an expensive one, it was this one from ASOS but in black.
