Im after a dark red, brown and medium pink nail polish which are my staple colours. I've heard OPI are good. Does anyone here use them?

I think they're overpriced and not worth the money to be honest. I've tried a few and they've all chipped the same day. I would recommend revlon, mua, rimmel, barry m and models own of the highstreet brands, i wouldn't bother with seventeen, boujois, l'oreal or maybelline. Chanel isn't worth the money either if we're talking about high end brands.

Much prefer Rimmel and Sally Hansen to any other brand tbh.

I use a lot of OPI and they are worth it for some of the really unusual finishes and colours, for standard colours barry m and bourjous are both good. If you can find china glaze they are really really good as are models own. The only makes I would advise against are Nails inc (overpriced rubbish) chanel (really overpriced rubbish) and Mac.(barry m quality with a higher price) The only Barry M ones I have used that haven't been great are the Gelly ones which all the colours i tried chipped after a few hours.

Fragrance direct do OPI from 2.99 a bottle if you want to try it. I've had a few bottles and they are certainly better that Nails Inc (which is so bad I don't even bother with the freebies on Glamour any more).

Butter London varnish lasts forever and doesn't chip. Even better than OPI imo. Get their topcoat tooSmile

I love opi, find them far better wearing than other brands, but nothing makes as much difference as decent base and top coat, IMO.
