Have been invited to the Royal Gun Salute June 14th. Dress code for civilians is business suits for men and "equivalent" for women. My normal work wear is flats, dark smart trousers and a plain co!oured tee. Not smart enough methinks. Also, weather at the castle could be cold and wet and my old Mac won't cut it, will it? Final point - cobblestones so high heels are out. Oh, and I have next to no budget and hate anything frilly/flouncy .
What the hell am I going to wear that I feel comfortable in but don't look too mannish? Am 5' 7, size 16, short hair and can look like a bloke!
