Which do you prefer and which one do you use?

I just use Boots tinted moisturiser after switching to it in the summer about 4 years ago and couldn't be bothered to change back to foundation

I used to have laura mercier's tinted moisturiser. It had a pinkish under tone to it. If I remember correctly, I tested it along my cheek line, as well as on my cheeks. I didn't realised it's the wrong colour as my base colour. I have now got the bobbi brown moisturising balm foundation which has a yellow undertone to it. I tested this on my neckline. It can give my whole face a great youngful look. (But I also realised this looks unnormal to my eyes. Lol. I thought I was someone else.)

I will try and finish the old tinted moisturiser, but I will only use it on my cheeks, and allow the base yellow colour as a kind of contour. Whereas with the Bobbi Brown foundation, I saw the make-up girl also very delicately only covered the whole face lightly and left a contour of yellow to surround my pink rosaceas cheeks as it is to give it an overall balance.

So it depends on how you want to use the foundation. Whole-face coverage and then add back the cheeks. Or correct cheeks and blemishes where patches occur to give an overall even look. (Which is what CC and BB cream is for.)
