I really would like one. Have read not sure if on these boards to size down one or two sizes. What do you all reckon. Am usually a busty 14.

Has any one got any links as the one I really liked is sold out in all sizes bar 18!

My dd loves kimonos. She is quite busty (32EE) and likes them as they make her feel a bit more covered up if she is wearing a vest top. She has this one and this one both in a 12.

Perfect dexter love the blue one would be perfect with jeans. And it's in stock!!!

I'm a similar size to you and tried the blue one on today, unfortunately one side was cut differently to the other so it wasn't symmetrical. Last one in that size in store. I'm tempted to order online to try and get one that is cut properly!

You might be able to get away with a 12 but the 14 was quite a flattering cut as not too much fabric compared with some. Colour and pattern was nice.

I love kimonos with vest tops. I have fat upper arms and a wobbly tummy and think they provide just the right amount of cover up without being too heavy. I saw some beautiful links in Oasis today (apols in advance if link goes wrong, am trying it from the app!)

here

I have a gorgeous one from Oasis www.oasis-stores.com/oasis/fcp-product/4430004500 and it is a slightly heavier material to most I have seen. I find the flimsy ones flap about too much whereas spending a little bit more on one which is shaped and hangs better will look more flattering.

GypsyFloss · 30/05/2014 20:47

I've just ordered this one Oasis/ JohnLewis
I want to wear it with a white vest , white skinny jeans and tan heels on holiday.

twostepsister · 30/05/2014 20:53

That one is lovely GypsyFloss

GypsyFloss · 30/05/2014 22:03

They're all nice aren't they. I'm hoping it doesn't swap me as I'm a short arse.

I also had my eye on this one Mint Velvet but it went out of stock as soon as the price match went on JL. It's silk so would be gorgeous on I reckon.

Chocolou · 30/05/2014 22:18

alwaysright my norks are 30hh so do you reckon I should get a 14?

I'm 34G and mine were fine in the 14. I think I'm going to order a 12 and a 14 to try.

Oooh love the New Look paisley blue in dexters link.

I saw a couple in Primark and though I liked the idea of them, they looked a bit washed out and faded (there was a blue paisley and a lilac paisley) . The fabric was really stiff and nylon-ey Sad

Canalside · 31/05/2014 10:09

I've just bought the blue one from new look linked to up thread. It's nice as not polyester, and cool for our upcoming v tropical holiday. I'm a 12, 30FF/G and bought the 12. It's fine, could have even gone for a 10 I think but can't be bothered to go back.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 31/05/2014 17:47

I bought the New Look blue kimono today (they only had size 16, I'm a 14 top half in High Street) tried it on, it's nice, quite a 'free form' shape. Grin

There was another big flowery print but that looked more holiday (and I'm not going away this year Sad )

I bought some vest tops to wear under it with skinny jeggings.

SuperDuperJezebel · 31/05/2014 20:49

I've just ordered one from New Look in a size 10 thinking I should size down - im losing weight but am mostly a 12, occasionally a 14 and sometimes if im really lucky a 10. Have I made a massive mistake?!

Canalside · 31/05/2014 22:11

Super you'll be fine.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 31/05/2014 22:33

It is a fairly free shape Super so if you are a 12, the 10 will be fine.

The 16 is a bit voluminous on me TBH but as it's light , it doesn't matter.

SuperDuperJezebel · 31/05/2014 22:39

Excellent, thanks for the reassurance!
