BENEFIT DANDELION- ANY GOOD?

JL has 10% off at the mo and I need a pale blusher.
Been onto make up alley and reviews of this are mixed- some say great, others say can't see it at all!

I am pale and have huge problems finding a pale blusher - Nars Orgasm and Deep Throat are far too bright, currently using Rimmel Sienna Rose.

Have tried Dandelion on my hand - but really can't tell.

The idiot assistant put it all over my face - made me look as if I had Rosacea and then said after while smirking

"Oh, I've never met anyone it was too dark for"

It's fine as a pale blusher for your cheeks

It is NOT a highlighter or face powder

I need it as blusher :)

Have you tried Bourjois Rose de Brune?

I've been using that for 20 years - you only need a small amount - a pot will last me a year

Works well on my pale skin

Have tried almost all the pale Bourjois ones that I can find and they are all too bright- thanks for sharing.

I love it. Kinda subtle and buildable so it can be as much or little as you like. Definitely a blusher not a highlighter. I reckon I am on the pale side but not ghostly ...
Can you get to a JL to try it? Not sure I could buy blusher without seeing it on.

It's not too pale- in fact with 2 applications I look positively rosy!
If you are darker skinned than alabaster of porcelain it might not suit but it's clear that I am wearing blusher!
Slightly more glittery than I expected, but it's paler than any other blusher I've used.
Overpriced and the box/ brush enclosed is hopeless, but have a great Bobbi B blusher brush so that's fine.

Would like it to be more peach than pink, TBH, and may well try Nars Sex Appeal sometime, but is out of stock at JL at the moment.

Glad it works for you too lazysummerdays. I agree about the price but I keep finding that things I love and work, I feel are overpriced ... I put it down to increased tightness with age!
Oh and Ladyhaha, I didn't mean to be so dogmatic about the blusher/ highlighter ... I meant 'on me' of course. Sure it looks fine, particularly if you are more gifted in make up than me! (Not hard!)

I have it somewhere....I abandoned it for NARS Orgasm and have never looked back

I use Rimmel Wake Me Up Instant Radiance in Rose. It's very subtle and very inexpensive.

I find it's like a mini Orgasm - not quite so powerful.
I did have an Orgasm and sold it on Ebay.

I use it when I want an ultra natural look. Nars orgasm is a completely different beast! I like it but it' s'more of. Full on night out blusher.

I also really love nars gina which is a non-glitter Matt orange toned blusher. Fabulous for wearing with strong red lipstick and a tiny smidge of mascara and nothing else.

Benefit Coralista is similar but peach.

I haven't seen that Rimmel one ohmy- will check it out.

Ken- is the Coralista subtle? reviews on MUA said it was quite intense and high pigment.

I didn't like Orgasm - too sparkly.

Benetint is my favourite blusher though.

You can absolutely wear brighter blusher as a pale person! It just needs more careful and lighter application. I am pale and have worn red and burgundy blushers, and didn't look clownish! A fan brush is ideal for a very light application, I find.

Dandelion is OK but too shimmery for me. Benefit Dallas is the only bronzer that's ever worked for me though.

(should point out that I am currently after MAC Candy Yum Yum and Flatout Fabulous lipsticks, I am not scared of intense coloured makeup )

Free if you like orange blusher (I approve!) then try NYX Cinnamon. It's not actually cinnamon coloured but is more like a pumpkin orange.
